Gestalt therapy

Gestalt therapy gets its name from the German word ”Gestalt” which means ”meaningful whole”. It is a humanistic and existential form of therapy. Man is seen in its entirety as body, psyche and soul in a constantly ongoing interaction with his surroundings.

Sensory sensations, emotions and consciousness are given the same value. Gestalt therapy also rests on the interpersonal and on the importance of the relationship. We are created in the meeting with each other. Curiosity, acceptance and responsability are the basic principles. By becoming aware and accepting what is, the opportunity for change, development and healing is opened. The goal is increased self-support, awareness and to develop a living contact with oneself, others and the outside world.

Couples therapy, to keep your relationship vivid and alive

Sometimes we get caught up, sometimes without knowing why, in destructive behavior in our relationships. In couples therapy, we can together examine what you bring to a relationship, about trust and the relationship between you as partners.

When you care about each other and at the same time dare to open up to what is difficult or even painful, you are given the opportunity to meet in a new way, and at the same time get a deeper understanding of the relationship.
